It's 4 am in the morning

Is anyone else up? Call me. I'm bored. I am about ten minutes from waking Brent up to talk about furniture for the new house and discuss getting new locks for the doors. I am so excited about the house-that is part of the reason I can't sleep. Katelyn is the other part. She woke up at two crying. I went in and put in her passy and have been up ever since. So far, I have paid several of those pesky lab bills that Brent asked me to pay last month. I also emailed my sister-in-law and checked out today's deal on woot.com. That's a pretty neat website. I wonder about some of those people though, I mean are they really on the computer at 4 in the morning? Who does that? I would like to print some pictures of Katelyn, but I packed my printer paper already. I would also like to make some decaf coffee or hot chocolate, but I packed all of my dishes also. I could pack some more, but that would probably wake Brent up...maybe if he wakes up too he'll help me. Hmmm.
Katelyn swam for the first time Sunday. It was so much fun! She really looked like she could take it or leave it, but we all enjoyed it. I don't have any pictures because right as I was about to take one, the battery went dead in my camera. I also did not have a swim diaper so she borrowed one from her cousin, Lonna Grace, who is two and I have to say, it wasn't falling off my three month old. She starts daycare a week from Wednesday. I plan on taking her for half a day Wednesday and Thursday and a whole day on Friday. I start back to work on the following Monday, so we'll have a few days of practice. I think she'll be okay. She has had several different people keeping her over the summer. I, on the other hand, will need some moral support. The thing that bothers me the most I think, is that she'll go from being the only one to being one of several. We'll make it though.
It's now 4:30 in the morning. I wonder what time Starbucks opens...

Visiting Granny

We went to visit my granny and her two sisters Friday. We had so much fun! Katelyn loved visiting with them! She is with granny in the upper left corner and Aunt Betty in the upper right corner. Aunt Pauline is pictured in the lower right corner. Katelyn doesn't get to see Pauline and Betty very often, so she loves it when she gets to visit them.

New New House

Okay, we have bought another house. This is the one for sure! After putting our earnest money down and in the middle of the inspection, we (I) decided that we (I) did not like the house. The more we (I) thought about it, the more the floor plan did not make sense. It had two bedrooms on the main level and two in the basement. So when we (I) have another kid, then Katelyn would have to move into the basement. Well, that just does not sit well with us (me). So we (I) continued looking and found this house which really has it all! We (I) really love it can't wait to invite everyone over for a cookout!

"I just crack me up!"

Close up

Katelyn loves to look at ceiling fans, so Brent decided to let her get a closer look. She was interested at first, but I think she decided she'd rather admire them from afar.

New Toy

A friend of ours let us borrow this chair because her little boy grew out of it. We are soooo thankful! As you can see, Katelyn loves it! She likes to kick and make it bounce.

New House

We found a house! Unfortunately, even with all of Brent's technology, we were unable to find a house on our own. So we enlisted the help of an agent. After about two weeks of visiting houses EVERY DAY we found one. We should close July 27th and take possession on the following Friday. We will have the weekend to move in. Brent is looking forward to having a garbage disposal and big closets. I am looking forward to having a garage and more than one bathroom.
