Meeting the Allbrittons

This is Katelyn with Aunt Mandy. We drove to Atlanta on May 22nd for the birth of Mae, Katelyn's cousin. We left that evening and things started out fine. Katelyn had just been fed and slept for about an hour or so until her next feeding (this was when she was eating every two hours). We stopped and fed her and ourselves and got back on the road. About 30 minutes later, she started crying. So we stopped and fed her again (she obviously had not eaten enough) and got back on the road. Thirty minutes later, WAAAAAAAAAA! So we pull over again and (to get Brent's version you'll have to ask him) we get her out of the car and she burps. So we figure this was the problem. We strap her back in and get going again. Immediately she starts to cry again. Brent has decided (and I had to reluctantly agree) that there was nothing more we could do for her,so she had to cry it out. So for the next five minutes, I am in the back seat holding her hand and crying with her. That possibly has been the worst five minutes of my life so far.
She had trouble sleeping that night, but she was fine the next day. We got to meet Mae and hang out with Issa, then we headed back. We made it though and the trip home was great. She slept the whole way.

ohhhh...you sound just like me...tender hearted girl! I would have been in the back seat crying too. I enjoyed your blog. It's good that you are writing all of this down, cause you can't believe how fast you forget. You are a precious family.
God Bless you and Katelyn!
