TUBES-The Experience

Waiting....

Mommy said Ohhhh, look at the cute little BP cuff. So small!
Katelyn said, Look lady, my mom may be gullible but I know what you're about to do!

When the anathesiologist (I bet HE can't even spell it!) came to check Katelyn out, she was not very sure. We've taught her from an early age about BOYS!

Mommy learned a while ago (after waiting at the doctor for over an hour) to always have a bag of toys. We NEVER leave home without it!

Look daddy! I'm goin' fast!

Ooh look at the pretty door! Are we at the circus?!?

Bye Bye Sweet Pea....

She had no idea what was about to happen. She just went with the nice lady-off to her next adventure! I swear that is what life is to her-one adventure after another!

We waited for 20 minutes and the doctor came in. I barely had time to worry! He said that he ears were pretty bad. He said when he made the hole, fluid came gushing out. He sucked a lot of fluid out, but all went well and she was fine.

After he left they brought her to us. She was out of it and scared about it! She would loll her head around and lay on me chest, the she would pop up and start screaming & crying. It didn't take her long to calm down though, and we left a few minutes later. She was fine on the ride home-very calm.

We ate breakfast when we got home and she went down for a nap. She slept a lot and was a little cranky at times, but other than that, she was fine.

So overall the experience was a good one. Children's is great. Everyone was so friendly. Brent actualy got to work on time. We were out of there by 7:45 am!
